Please stop complaining, multiple posting of same greivance and try to do something constructive - I have been waiting for more than 5 years now too, and as frustrated as I am, I do not feel complaining will get me anywhere.
Folks, I agree that while complaining and venting are therapeutic, they are only good up to a certain point. Don't just vent on these forums. Vent, but also try and do something constructive - help recruit new members, help raise funds for UIV, talk to your bosses at work and friends who are US citizens, and make them aware of what LEGAL immigrants who are stuck in backlogs and limboland are going through. Have them write their congressmen and senators and tell them to do something about this situation.

While this may seem "out there", it's not really.
US Immigration Law recognizes some administrative divisions within countries. Take Northern Ireland as the classic example. You cannot apply for the DV Lottery if you are from the UK, except if you are from Northern Ireland, yet Northern Ireland is firmly part of the United Kingdom. Inviting parents to the USA and getting their visa is not dependent on what your immigration status is in the US. As long as you can support them (job/salary) and you are legally present in the USA, you can invite them. Getting the Visa is entirely dependent on the interview. No amount of supporting paper work will help if the interviewer determines (for whatever reason) that they will become public charge in the USA (even health wise) or that they will not leave back to the home country.

I have requested again for the screenshot mentioning the same and waiting on a response. You do seem to have an idea how it looks like, if you dont mind, would you be able to post a screenshot with all information greyed out. With that handy, if they come back with, 'no way' I can go back at them hard saying they are BS'ing me and call their bluff.

If I were you I wont try and get confrontational with the employer HR or attorneys as
you will need their help in the future. They cant "sell" your approved labor(as in the past), it belongs to you and you only. Your priority date would be the day you filed your labor so that doesnt change. Just keep politely pestering them with case info give then reasonable (or more than reasonable time) before you give up. Sorry I cant be much of help here and no unfortunately cant post any screenshot only the HR and attorney has access to the system. Good luck!

Hi,
I have filed I-485 application myself for me & my wife on July 5th, 2007.
I have listed all the documents in the packet on the cover letter, but forgot to sign the at the bottom (both me & my wife) after 'Sincerely'.It has blank in place of my signature and name printed in the brackets.Will it be a problem?
What should I do now to correct this? Should I send the signed cover letter separately (explaining that I forgot to sign)? Your suggestion is highly appreciated.

I think, if you don't have labor doc, you can go to FLCDataCenter.com (http://www.flcdatacenter.com/) and search for MS Access document for the year when you file for the labor. If you have the number from the LC doc, search for that number in the access file and you will find the details of your case.
